On Break

Last week we broke up for the Spring Festival holidays. Spring festival is a time in China that is similar to Christmas for the west. This also encompasses the Chinese New Year.

We are taking this opportunity to make our flat a little more homely and organize ourselves a bit. Yesterday we got a fish tank which will hopefully brighten up our living room a bit, and we are going to try and find a guy who can hang pictures on walls for us, as every attempt that we have made has resulted in either big holes in the wall of the pictures falling off and breaking.

Friday we will go to the hospital to get a Meningitis A injection for Tabitha, as well a check up. Then a week or so later Aaron and Lois will arrive in Xi'an, which we are really looking forward to.

One of my other brothers Josh is also coming to China soon. We had originally hoped that he would be able to come to Xi'an but he was unable to find a Job here and so he is going to teach English in Weihai, which is a small city on the east coast. He is coming with another friend too so he won't be too lonely. Hopefully we will be able to go and visit him in the summer at which time we also plan on going to visit Jenna's younger brother, Kriss, who lives in Tianjin.

Seems like our whole family will be out here soon.
